We have been saved ! A new server, a new forum, a new start...

I'm very glad to announce that our community has been saved once more by a very kind donator who has alraey helped us out in the past a lot !! Our community can now rise again !

Nevertheless, we have to start walking new ways in SA-MP. The current DS server is a relict of former SA-MP times and won't really fit into today's gameplay. That's why I decided the following for the future and sake of DS:

1. I have started scripting a new server with new features, ideas and maps from scratch.
2. This forum will be archived within the next 4 weeks.
3. We'll get a new forum with a .com domain that won't be as trashed as this one right here.
4. Admin and member permissions persist in case of activity.


Please don't post in other topics from now on. This topic will be the discussion and suggestion topic for our new server/forum. Discuss or suggest anything here and I'd be very pleased to get to know your opinions ! I'll be on forums regularly, answering/replying in this topic or if you have any personal concerns, don't hesitate to PM me on forum, I'll reply soon as possible !

It'll definitely again be a TDM Gamemode, but probably more team-based and more teams to choose from.

The Map size will definitely increase to suport the variety of the server and to make it more exciting. I'm not really sure about the exact location, but I am open to suggestions.

Glad to see you are still concerned about the community and to see that you have realized that our current GM is not really what SA:MP players want today!


Suggestions and notes w/e

1.I really hope we are NOT gonna be another COD community.Cause there are at least 20 COD communities already out there and only like 3 or 5 are good ones.

2.Could you tell us what you have in mind for the new GM?What do you plan to do or something?

3.Forums: I think we should move on to a more 'professional' forum theme and design.Not anything like this.
P.S What is the new forum link gonna be?

4.Are you the only one scripting ?No one else helping you out?

5.Add stuff like deagle deathmatch stadium etc

Concerning stuntworld: I haven't thought of this yet but i might consider it.

You can "As I told you 1000 times before ana I think razor told you" make a scripting group who can make a filterscripts and can't reach the main GM and you can take them and put them as a filterscripts or take the code and put it in the GM and the group under your lead.

I would never consider creating DS as another COD server, there are quite a few out there and I rather want to have unique features on the server. The forum itself will probably be based on SMF. I'm scripting for my own as I always did, promise I can handle this I have a few ideas for the server features but I'd rather keep them in secret to have some surprises at our release.

Concerning this scripter group: I would appreciate such a group, but:

The Filterscripts have to work independently from the GM, I will implement them in the GM afterwards. If you have scripted a good FS, just send it over to me and I'll check and implement it if it fits.

High Probability "No" cuz the server right now uses MYSQL DB, so all of our acc stuffs are saved in Rooms in that database wich can be used in the new start, its all about some Words changing

I'd prefer using the SAME host ( Forumotion) & purchase the .com Domain, it could also be purchased .
