Gravity's Question

Dear DS members and players,
i'm asking here what the "reputation" feature does work on the forum?
-What does it mean? (You know, not the literary meaning, of course)
-Is a good thing having it at an higher value? (I think yes, but i have to be sure about that)
-And if yes, how to increase it as much as i can?

well to begin with this is what i understand from it:
- i think it basicly is a thanks or compliment u can give anyone if you think he/she earns it
- it doesnt make you any better as i said above there just compliments given by people as thanks
- and you can increase it by helping people and if their nice enough they just click on + and 1 reputation is added and maybe a message

i think its not like important for anything:P but that differs in everyone(before anyone asks xd yes i think its pointless since u can add a message under the post saying thanks)
