Hey guys, I've some different idea that could be add, gime your opinion Wink

what I'm suggesting here is to add some truck with fixed weapon on it.
as this : but for car or other.
You all see the Stpu heli equiped with the platform ? I think we could add some turret platform on some car with different weapon as M4 or Ak

, but why not a funny terrorist vehicle with some flamethrower ?

or even a feildgun platform that could be an antiplane weapon
(maybe use an other vehicle ;p)
, or again a grenad launcher. why not modify the stpu héli in order to add a m4 platform else ?

These diferent weapon platform could only work if the vehicle have a driver. that will increase the different way to play and will increase the teamwork possibilty. A lot of vehicle could be used.
why not a bike with a sidecar equiped with a m4 xD
Sure you will say, "but abuser", I think there is diferent way to fix that, score needed, maybe stpu ranks needed why not, that will give them an utility and avoid newbie to use these vehicle without completing Stpu (and probably later the special terrorist force/ if they going to exist)mission. also choose the reload time etc etc etc ...

note: turret are made quickly to show you the main aspect but we can make them with a bit more realistic model

Consider it at strategic artillery point to capture (cp will be better than kill, cause the problem with kill capture is that if no one is in area, no one will go at it cause they couldn't capture ... I hope you noticed it ;s) in order to use them.
-All artillery weapon can be drive entering them (as the minigun turret tht stormy made).
-The aiming will be a sky looking (more or less high depending from artillery kind(great range have a worst vision to balance their strong power)) with an circle target to load in 5-10 sec, maybe less for the light artillery idk. can shot 1 strong ammo with high spalsh radius/ 2min for heavy and long range artillery / 3-5 ammo / min for short and light artillery.
- Some little grenad laucher could be set to.


All this strategic point could be a way to make the battlefield richer cause I find that player just fight at the two main base even not in the middle one. And maybe set some objectiv in Stpu base could make it more "visited" with a potentional terrorist one if Stormy is still going to add a special terrorist force idk. Also you will say that artillery point will be over powered but we still can modify Coulddown, ammo etc etc, that will just make the battlefield looking as it a real one xP with boom and death from everywhere (fortunatly it's just a game ;D).

Sniper suggestion : I find that the idea to hide him from map is totaly realistic, anyway I"ll suggest to make his shot heard so the player hited could only know the direction of sniper and not his location.
could be show as a little sign on map or even a red arrow on screen. The reason is that I find sniper class not totaly balance with other one now that headshot exist. So that will still let an stealth advantage, but repetitiv shot could reveal your position. That should balance and make the sniping more realistic.


General Suggestion: give to general abilty to use special order, idk some thing as little airstrike/ kamikaze plane call, ammo supply that could be spawn over the battlfield and taken by general's team, why not a vehicle supply xD, maybe if he could send as 15 infantry bot attack enemy base (easy to kill these bot however(give 1 score)) just for fun and make the battlefield more dynamic, and why not more abilty, if you have idea,
> each abilty will have a cost (money, special general credit/point etc)
also may we could add high officer (something as 4) with just 2 or 3 ability


An other of my suggestion is a new area.
I find that DS community have grow up that last month, and seeing what it have been down on this server, by admin, member, vip, and for sure by owners Wink I think a place should represent the DS power and relationship by a little fortress + an interior. I made one for exemple
-Area locked by door, ONLY DS member, admin, and Vip could access it with a special command to unlock DSdoor as /DSop, or anything else xP. door will automaticly close after 10 sec.
(-in the one i mapped there is 2 secret door "hiden" but that can unfortunatly being open by every body, maybe there is some way to fix that.)
-This area could deserv for reunion/ have private time/ for Event (as tdm, or derby etc)/ to afk without disturbing The battlefield etc etc..
Contain : garage for car, garage for boat, maybe some plane can be set too,

An exemple :

multiple entrance




+some secret door: but there are destructible by everyone for now ;S





Jet tunnel at top :


Global looking ( a bit martial building but osef ;P, it's a safe place Wink ):



3 different floor with different spot (you can access all of these floor with stairs, and maybe an elevator could be add for lazy guys xP):




DS harbor with a little swiming pool for hot day Wink
Optional Wall/Door for lauch little plane (stunt/vortex..) from inside :
interior entrance :
semi interior place (enterable building etc ...):
Ok is not easy to see all the base with picture but a video will be too loong to post ;P

All these ideas are just awesome ! Like Ameen said, noobs could ruin the fun with this. Maybe we could do a limit score for these vehicles if it's chosen ?

First remember it's only some simple car with turret, so easy to destroy with a lot infantry weapon,
We can balance each turret if need, but look :
ex > flamethrower vehicle, only 4-5m range attack so easy to down from away even with a uzi xD
> m4/ak turret veh, the aiming is worst than for infantry cause vehicle will move, and if it to slow for let them aim better, vehicle will be easyly destroy by every one.
> grenad laucher/or anti_airplane vehicle, can set the reload time, anyway still a normal vehicle so 1000 hp, may we can set this turret on a slow vehicle if it's better ( roadtrain etc)
> for heli with m4 turret (I didn't use the m4 model in my pict but it was just for you the main idea, but a minigun shot will be ofcourse not recomanded as vehicle turret, I hope you understand it xD), same thing, an héli is easy to down (infantry war veh etc), and moving will not allow the turret driver to aim where he want.

Each vehicle can be balanced In my opinion. Just need to find the best way to do it.
My opinion is that it will really increase the realist gameplay and team play. And About vehicle access, tank hydra etc need score but these vehicle will need to complete some Stpu mission and we will find a way for terrorist to get it ;p idk
